Job Summary:


The Compliance Program Manager (CPM) is responsible for establishing and executing programs to promote a culture of compliance and ethics within Novant Health at the local level. This role will assist and advise facility and/or medical group leaders and representatives in identifying compliance needs, and determining effective and efficient ways to address them at the local level.


Qualifications:



+ Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.


+ Experience: Minimum five years healthcare, compliance, or legal experience required.


+ Licensure/certification/registration:Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.


+ Additional skills required: The Compliance Program Manager should have a high level of knowledge, skills and abilities with regard to understanding compliance program requirements, health care regulations, reimbursement protocols, and legal standards. The Compliance Program Manager should have the skill set to operate a robust compliance committee, including strong listening, writing and presentation skills, and also be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and the use of web-based applications. The successful CPM relates well to all kinds of people, up, down and sideways, inside and outside the organization; creates open channels of communication; conveys information clearly and effectively both orally and in writing; listens; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can diffuse even high-tension situations comfortably. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
