Human Resources Business Partner
The **HR Business Partner** provides both transformational advice and transactional support and serves as the advisor and consultant to US based management teams. Drives strategy execution by aligning HR solutions and actions to achieve business objectives. This position will implement and communicate HR strategy, policies, tools and guidelines within the company to ensure consistency with global, regional and country business objectives.The Business Partner will also collaborate and work jointly with the HR Centers of Expertise and HR Service Center and Volvo Group University to execute on business strategies implement HR best practices and continuously improve HR processes. In addition, this position will develop strategies and programs designed to attract, develop and retain people which will include talent, workforce and succession planning as well as leadership development.


+ As a business partner, actively participate on the management team to provide strategic HR input, solutions and support for management with HR related issues

+ Provide support to managers and leaders in decision making related to talent acquisition, talent development, talent review, succession planning, performance management, training, diversity, competency development, workforce planning and compensation within the organization

+ Ensures that HR strategies and activities are aligned to deliver across assigned operations in order to support business goals

+ Works closely with internal communication team to ensure pertinent information is shared across the VFS organization according to VFS corporate communication standards and processes

+ Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives within the business area in order to improve business efficiency and people management allowing for flexibility and planned growth

+ Drive a performance management culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of customer service through behaviors aligned with our values

+ Work in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues Build management responsibility and capability for managing ER issues

+ Proactively build and promote strong employee trust and open communication between all organizational levels.

+ Implement and communicate HR policies, processes and tools

+ Serve as Engagement Ambassador and Change Manager during Employee Engagement survey and survey follow-up

+ Support new employee orientation training, as well as employee communication initiatives and recognition programs

+ Build relationships at all levels within the organization to effectively maximize employee and management involvement in driving change


**Required Education and Experience**


+ BA/BS in Business, HR or related field required

+ Master's Degree and/or professional certification ,highly preferred

+ 5+ years of progressive experience with proven track record as human resources professional

+ Experience in the financial services industry preferred

+ Experience in working in an international environment and ability to work across multiple functions and in multicultural teams, preferred


**Required Competencies and Skills**


+ Strong organizational and project planning skills with ability to meet deadlines & manage multiple priorities

+ Proven track record as a progressive HR Business Partner across multiple HR disciplines

+ Results and business-oriented HR leader with the ability to work and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment

+ Demonstrated expertise in implementing and leading change management initiatives

+ Knowledge of legal and regulatory factors including relevant employment laws, and compensation/salary setting

+ Sound business judgment, analytical skills, & decision making ability

+ Strong consulting, coaching, group facilitation and presentation skills

+ Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and Spanish is preferred; Portuguese language is a plus
