PURPOSE:Wrap, band, box and prepare truck shipments.





PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



+ Pack all export orders and provide sales with appropriate information for export documents.


+ Pack regular orders and touch up all materials when necessary or return materials to proper location if unable to ship.


+ Run labels/BOL for shipments.


+ Build pallets/crates


+ Load and unload trucks


+ Before product is shipped, check shipping copies, export documentation, and bills of lading for accuracy.


+ Support other shipping functions deemed necessary by supervisor/and or company.


+ Other related duties assigned by Supervisor.





EDUCATION:


High School Diploma or equivalent




MANAGEMENT:


No direct repots




EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:



+ Must have basic math skills.


+ Must have great communication skills.


+ Must be able to regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.


+ Must be able to use a staple gun and build crates.


+ Must be able to operate the foam machine.


+ Must have a forklift license.


+ Must be willing to work overtime with short notice.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
