Position: New Grad // Clinical Nurse I


Department - Rehab Center


Hours: 36 hr/wk position; days/nights with weekend rotation, flexible self scheduling






Hiring a New Grad RN for Rehabilitation Center , a 30-bed unit that provides a full range of services for people who have temporary or permanent disabilities, including those recovering from orthopedic disabilities, stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, multiple trauma, amputation, arthritis, and neuromuscular and neuralgic impairments. High quality professional care is contingent on staff who are competent, dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate. Several of our nurses have obtained professional Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) and serve as resources and leaders on the unit. Each RN cares for 5 to 6 patients per 12-hour shift, with support from Certified Nursing Assistants (Level I and II) who may work 8-hour or 12-hour shift combinations. This is a 36 hr/wk position; days/nights with weekend rotation, flexible self scheduling.







Qualifications


Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. No prior experience required.
